Treasure Trove Tuesday - This Week's Thrifting Finds
08 September
Hey there!
I have been enjoying my nice long weekend how about you?
We had a little (much needed) rain and the rest of the days were beautiful!
Again, I only stopped at a couple of thrift shops. I'm trying reeeaaalllyyy hard not to buy anything... I couldn't resist a few little things though.
I bet you'll never guess what the background for this picture is! I added the little clip art leaves... looks like a tree trunk right? Nope! You'll have to wait until the end to find out! ;o)
I love this vintage embroidered picture. My mom and I saw a couple of cute ones at an antique show we went to recently but they wanted $40 to $50 each!!
And these funny little things are place mats!
An old wooden tray. I think it needs something pretty behind the glass but first I have to figure out how to get it apart!
A vintage Christmas tin...
A cute little kitten earring holder. It will be so cute painted.
And this old frame... recognize that backing?? Yep! That's what I used for the first picture in this post!
That's it! Six little things... I can deal with that!
Check out my Etsy shops to purchase some of these and other treasures:
Be sure to check back tomorrow for some cute quickie projects I completed over the long weekend :o)

My two favorite are the frame and the tray. Like you I am trying to cut back and shop my house.
ReplyDeleteI like the earring tree the best!
ReplyDeleteLove the frame and tray.
ReplyDeleteSuch restraint you're showing! It's hard when you KNOW there are goodies out there that you NEED! LOL! The stitchery is gorgeous and when you fix up the frame it'll be even prettier.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the tray! I hope you can get it apart so we can see what magic you work on it!
ReplyDeleteHi Tania! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the tray too...I have seen ones like those with vintage tea towels inside, so it must come apart? Maybe Google it?
Love the Christmas tin too.
I know, it's hard to stay out of the thrift stores! ;)
