Vintage Bulletin Board Refresh
01 July
Hello! How was your week?
I'm still busily working on transforming all the treasures that are hidden in the recesses of my garage. It's beginning to look less like a hoarder lives here and is slowly clearing out! 😌
Today's project was a simple one but I think it turned out so great! Sometimes simple is best!
I have had this old bulletin board for a long time. I don't know why I kept hanging on to it. I mean, it was just a plain little cork board, nothing special at all about it.
I guess because I knew it could be cute! 😉

I used THIS stencil I found at Michael's, white craft paint and a stencil brush to add the design to the board.
I used the large stencil from the pack and two of the border stencils.
I thought the edge looked a little raggedy though.
All it needed was a little vintage velvet trim to finish it off! I tried some pink ribbon but I liked the brown better, it gives it sort of a framed look.
Oh... and a cute little pink rick-rack hanger!
I was looking around for some cute push pins when I saw these flower brads in my scrapbook supplies. I just used some pliers to pop off the brads from the back and then used E6000 glue to attach some plain push pins.
I also attached a push pin to a small clothespin for a fun little addition!
