Vintage Fisher-Price Bumble Bee Wreath
27 July
Back in March, I thrifted a cute little vintage Fisher-Price Bumble Bee toy (Treasure Trove Tuesday - This Week's Thrifting Finds). I had a plan for him and I've finally gathered up the supplies I needed and made what I was planning!
I started by tying some yellow pipe cleaners around the wire wreath form and then looping in some of the yellow mesh ribbon and securing with the pipe cleaners.
I used one whole roll of it.
Then I started weaving in some of the green tulle ribbon.
I had a roll of green burlap ribbon that coordinated nicely so I made some loops and tied them with wire, then tied them onto the wire frame in various places where I felt like it needed a little more.
I also had some yellow burlap that I cut into strips and tied on here and there.
Then I added some silk sunflowers.
Then I added in the yellow ball flowers.
To attach the bee I wrapped some of the wire around the wheel on the backside and wired him to the wreath!
I love his sweet little face!😊
I'm happy with how it turned out, what do you think?
