Restyled Junk Wheel Wreath
22 November
Here we are... day six of the 12 Days of Christmas blog hop! 😀 Today we are sharing holiday wreaths!
My wreath is the same wreath I made for one of our monthly Thrifty Chicks challenges. I made that wreath so I could change out the decorations for each season or holiday so I have now restyled it and made a topper for it for Christmas!

You can check out my original fall-themed Junk Wheel Wreath first if you missed that project.
The fall floral wreath "topper" was made as one piece and it attaches to the wreath with a push pin. Now, I've restyled it and made a new topper for the Christmas season!
As a reminder, here is what the wheel looked like when I found it.
First, I needed to remove the fall topper... easy peasy... just pulled out that pushpin holding it on!
I started this topper by just laying some holiday-themed floral stems together and holding them together with a piece of tinsel chenille stem.
I made a little hook for my pushpin. I actually took this back off and then redid it once I had all my floral picks together.
Then the new piece gets pinned to the top of the wreath with the pushpin. Since the wheel is rubber, the pin pushes in nicely to hold the topper on.
I found this piece of vintage velvety ribbon in my stash and used it to make a bow the same way I made the bow for the fall topper.
I also had these vintage bells in my stash and added them under the bow.
The bow with bells was glued over the top of the tinsel chenille stem.
Here is my finished wreath!!
I made a little tag with a wood slice and stamps just like I did for the fall topper.
I had all the holiday floral picks in my stash (I have a whole suitcase full of flowers and stems). You can find really cute ones at most craft stores though and the small picks are inexpensive. You might even have some in your Christmas decorations!
I'm so happy with how this turned out and I love that it's interchangeable! I can hardly wait to make more toppers for it!
Now it's time to enter the giveaway and check out the other holiday wreaths!
