Upcycled & Repurposed Thrift Store Ideas!
21 December
It's hard to believe that in short order 2019 will be over and we will be fresh into 2020! But it's true!
I have some fun stuff in mind for the blog for 2020 and I bought myself a new planner (THIS one!) to help those ideas come to fruition... that, and to help keep this Polly procrastinator on track! I actually forgot about some posts I was supposed to write this year 😬
If you've been a reader for very long then you know that the second Wednesday of each month is Thrifty Chicks day! This is where a group of my very talented blogging friends and I get together for an upcycling challenge project!
The Thrifty Chicks has been a "thing" for almost 3 years now! Some members of the original gang have moved on to other things and we have some new friends in our group this year!
Today I thought it would be fun to go back through all three years' worth of challenges and reminisce a little!
30+ Upcycled & Repurposed Thrift Store Ideas
I picked one of my all-time favorite projects from each of our current members and then there is a link to my favorite from each month below. You'll be able to see all the projects for a specific month by clicking the picture.
This is my project from the "drawer" challenge and it is my favorite! I have it hanging in my half bath.
This is my favorite of Lora's projects from Lora B. Create & Ponder. She always comes up with such amazing ideas and her ability to style and create awesome vignettes is out of this world!
Linda from Itsy Bits and Pieces is one of our newer members and she knocked our "spindles" challenge out of the park with her awesome spindle pumpkin!!
Sheila from Audrey Would! is the other newest member of the Thrifty Chicks. She gave an old barrel bucket a new life as a planter. Who knew it could be so beautiful stained a dark color like this!! 😍
If you want to see someone who can make amazing faux flowers out of almost anything imaginable, then you need to check out Color Me Thrifty! Tuula is amazing and she really nailed the "silverware" challenge with her pretty windchime!
Here is our full 3 years worth of monthly projects! I only linked to one of our projects for each month, you'll be able to see the other projects for that month's challenge at each link.
