11 Ways to Upcycle Little Golden Books

13 August

Like it or not, it's probably time to start letting Christmas thoughts creep into your head... especially if you like to make your Christmas decor and gifts!

I know, you're thinking NOOOOOO Tania!!!! But it's true... better to at least start the planning process... gift lists, project plans, and decor themes and colors if you like to change your decor up each year, etc.

One of my most popular posts on Pinterest is one for making Christmas ornaments from old Little Golden Books - Recycled Little Golden Book Ornaments. I get favorable comments on it all the time... well, except for one person who decided to leave a comment saying "why would you ruin those cute books to make such ugly ornaments?"

First of all, the books I choose are already ruined... probably by that nasty person's nasty little kids who ripped out pages and colored inside! 😂

Why people feel the need to take time out of their day to leave rude comments I will never understand! If you don't like something that someone has done then just MOVE ON!

Anyway, I digress... I thought it would be fun to share some more fun upcycled Little Golden Book crafts! And maybe you'll get some ideas for Christmas gifts or decor you want to make!

I think it’s a great way to give a book that’s taken a beating new life. I have a small Alice in Wonderland that I rescued because I love the graphics, now I can restore and embellish! Yay!
