Upcycled Pedestal Stand
It's time for our second Do It Over Designers blog hop!
There aren't a lot of rules... we each just take something old or unused and 'do it over' into something new and then share here on the Do It Over Designers blog hop!
I will share my project with you first, and then at the bottom, you'll be able to see all the other participants cool projects! 😄 I'm excited to see what everyone made too!
Upcycled Pedestal Stand
I decided to make a pedestal stand from part of an old lamp and a metal souvenir state tray.
If you've been around LVC for very long then you've probably seen my Upcycled Lamp Garden Totem. After I made that I had some of the lamp parts left over so I saved them of course!
I loved the little feet on this vintage lamp base and I decided it would make a great pedestal base! I used a metal state souvenir tray for the top. The tray was slightly damaged, it had a burn mark through the left part of the state image, so it was perfect for this upcycling project!
I spray painted the tray white and the base aqua.
I used construction adhesive to glue in the circle of wood and then weighed it down overnight to dry.
I have it sitting on my coffee table now.
