Upcycled Vintage Wall Pocket Christmas Vignette
28 November
How are you doing lately? We have been thrown back into shut down mode here and it's so sad because we had just barely started to open things back up again. I'm worried about the small businesses... if they managed to survive the first shut down, how will they do this time? I'm lucky that my job isn't affected other than working from home.
I've been occupying my mind lately with Christmas crafts! It's always a welcome distraction 😊
Today I'm joining some blogging friends for the Do It Over Designers upcycling challenge. I decided to do a cute little Christmas vignette in an upcycled vintage wall pocket.
Upcycled Vintage Wall Pocket Christmas Vignette
The Do It Over Designers is a group of like-minded bloggers and we e-meet bi-monthly to take something old or unused and "do it over" into something new!
I found a pair of these wooden wall pockets at the thrift store. I have one of them hanging in a gallery wall but the other has been hanging out in my craft studio.
I added a couple of old jingle bells and a holly sprig from Dollar Tree. I also painted some little music notes around the letters.
