Hello, how is your week going? Have any big plans for Thanksgiving? My boyfriend and I are going to my parents' house for dinner.
I've found a few things lately during my thrifting trips that am ready to share with you for Treasure Trove Tuesday (TTT).
If you are new here, first... welcome! In case you are wondering what TTT is all about, I have an Etsy shop, Little Boho Cottage, where I sell vintage and some handmade items. I regularly hit the thrift stores in search of new products for my shop and I share those finds with you here at TTT.
I share what I paid for each item and what I think I can resell them for here.
So let's get started!
Treasure Trove Tuesday - My Latest Thrifting Finds
I found some kitchen stuff...
Like this huge soup mug! I don't think it's vintage but very boho!
Price $2.99, Value $10 - 12.
I love these little canning jars!! Look at those sweet lids!!
They are called "Quilted Crystal" and they are by Ball.
Price .50 cents each, Value $6 - 10 each.
Two crochet dishcloths (or they could be used as placemats).
Price .50 cents each, Value $8 - 10 for the pair.
Some funky woven coasters. I like the colors.
Price $1.99 for 6, Value $10 - 12.
And this super sweet little juice reamer is the last kitchen-related thing I found. I think it's so cute!
Price $1.99, Value $20 - 22.
I also found a few home decor-type things, like this ornate mirror, I would call it Rococo style.
Price $2.99, Value $16 - 18.
This needlepoint is so sweet 😊
Price $2.99, Value $24 - 26.
Price $4.99, Value $20 - 22.
And this little picture frame... also Rococo and also includes an instant relative!! It's quite small, only about 6" tall.
Price $1.99, Value $10 - 12.
Then I found some books...
These are Better Homes & Gardens books, this one is the New Garden Book, it is dated 1961.
Price $1.99, Value $16 - 18.
And the Handyman's Book dated 1957. The lady on the cover swooning over her handyman and him flexing his muscles cracks me up! 😂 Shhhiiitttt, we don't need to swoon over men like that anymore, we can fix things ourselves!!
Price $2.99, Value $16 - 18.
And I found a couple of vintage baby books! They are both from the 90's by C.R. Gibson Company.
I think this is the exact one I had for my daughter! I'm going to have to look.
Price $2.99 each, Value $18 - 22 each.
And last, I found some Christmas things...
I love this clay nativity!
Price $6.99, Value $45 - 48.
I thought this crazy quilt stocking was cute. Someone had added ugly bows to it so I took those off.
Price $1.99, Value $25 - 28.
These little felt Santas are pretty cute too, very kitsch.
Price .25 cents each, Value $8 - 10 for the pair.
This ball toss game is actually fun... and a little addicting!
Price $1.29, Value $16 - 18.
You may have seen bowls made from old cards like this but have you ever seen a chair?!
Price $.99 cents, Value $18 - 20.
That's it this time around, I hope you enjoyed this TTT!
I have that same baby book for my daughter!
ReplyDeleteI had the "Welcome Baby" book for my daughter too :)
DeleteI just love looking at all the treasures you find. It inspires me to go thrifting again. I find so much stuff and never really know what to do with them other than display them. You can tell I'm from a certain age group.....not up on putting things online to sell....LOL! Maybe someday. Maybe I could find a partner to do that and I could just do the shopping? Hmmmm....something to think about.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori, I feel your pain, I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have my Etsy shop as an outlet! Rotate my collections I guess... you know like 14 new things in, 1 out, bwahaha! Selling online is a little bit of work for sure but it would be so cool if you could partner up with someone!
DeleteI love your comment about The Handyman Book.... Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Things have definitely changed haven't they?!
DeleteWow! You really have a haul there! I especially love the reamer and the chair made from cards! I have several bowls but don't think i've ever seen a chair.
ReplyDeleteI did make a haul and some cool stuff too :)
DeleteOMG!!! I absolutely adore the crewel/needlepoint with the animals! The little Ball jars are adorable too! I made one of the greeting card bowls last year myself but I really like the chair. Now I have to try and find a pattern for it too! Great finds Tania!
ReplyDeleteI know, isn't that crewel adorable??!!
