DIY No-Sew Garden Flag
28 September
Do you have one of those cute little garden flags by your front door?
I used to have them for all the holidays but I think they aren't as popular as they once were and I no longer have them.
The other day I was at the thrift store and stumbled upon one of the metal stakes that hold those little flags so I picked it up.
Since I no longer have those old flags, I needed to make my own.
DIY No-Sew Garden Flag
This is such a simple project that it probably doesn't even warrant a blog post and video, but I did it anyway! 😁
Here is the little flag holder I picked up at the thrift store.

Supplies Needed
You could certainly cut the towel and sew it into a flag but I chose to try iron-on fusible hem tape this time, #lazycrafter!
Here is the video.
All you do is fold the sides in so it is the size needed for your garden flag stake, add the fusible hem tape with an iron, fold the top over and add some more hem tape so that it creates a little rod pocket (like curtains) for the stake to slide through.
Isn't it the cutest?!
I hope you enjoyed this project, if you did, I'd love it if you'd share it with a PIN!

Very cute and so easy! I still love those little flags. They add a little cheer but the wind is always stealing mine!
